smile to connect"A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside."   Denis WaitleyNothing is more powerful as a smile and it is simple. Smile before you head on stage. Smile as your audience filters into the room and smile during your speech. When you take a moment to smile, it naturally brings a feeling of confidence and relaxation over your entire body.

Feel more calm, less nervous by smiling at someone in your audience. Your feeling of connectedness grows as you smile at your audience.  It is really that simple—so give it a try

Effects of a smile:

  • You will make others happier
  • Your smile can change their perception of you
  • People will trust you more

If our eyes are the windows to our soul, our hands are our connection to others. For every hour you spend preparing what you'll say, spend a minute practicing what you'll do with your hands.

Use open, palms up gestures.

What not to do:
  • Don't Point
  • Use your whole hand to avoid unintended rude gestures
  • Keep your fingers away from your face
  • Leave your fingernails alone
  • Don’t fiddle with your wedding ring

Helped book me as a speaker

“I have worked with Bobi for several years in a variety of capacities. She helped to customize my speaker marketing materials and created well attended marketing events. She has done a terrific job of booking me as a keynote speaker with her clients. She was committed to learning our EI training over 10 years ago and is an excellent trainer and speaker herself. I would highly recommend Bobi as a trainer, consultant or coach – she will push you or your organization to a higher level of performance.”
